Walk through a local vineyard that has perfected the art of traditional wine production, following them from the vines themselves to the cellars. Among this beautiful nature, you’ll learn how wind-drying grapes, double processing skins, and rich alluvial soil all combine to make Valpolicella one of the best wine-making regions in the world. Once you’ve learned how vintners in this singular region produce such diverse wines, a sommelier will talk you through the particulars of each tasting – savoring the piquancy and sweetness of the different wines for yourself.

Our Valpolicella Wine Tasting Experience is available every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with guaranteed departures. This tour invites you to venture to one of Italy’s best-kept secrets: The Pearl of Verona, so named for its protected position nestled snugly between two harsher regions. This allows for a longer growing season, and you’ll be offered a unique view of a family-run vineyard typical of the region. Start your day with a tour of the vineyard by roaming through the vines, feeling the soil under your feet and the sun on your skin. Once you’ve seen how the grapes are grown, the tour will move to the wine cellars and bottling facilities as you learn how the grapes are processed before they become a decadent blend of sugar and tannins. A sommelier will explain the different flavor profiles and idiosyncrasies of regional varietals as you sample Valpolicella’s 4 famous wines: Valpolicella Classica, Ripasso, Amarone, and Recioto. You’ll leave the vineyard feeling invigorated, informed, and intoxicated with the joy our vintners bring to creating fantastic wines.
