Meet your mountain biking expert at the La Spezia train station, and get a short safety briefing and tour overview before hopping on your E-bike and making your way along a paved road into Porto Venere.
Stop here to admire the cinematic views of the glittering waters of the Gulf of Poets below you, and then begin your ascent up an abandoned military road into the village of Campiglia.
Here, you'll see a different side of the gulf spreading out below you, and the sea of Cinque Terre unfolding on your other side before stopping for a light picnic lunch and some traditional flavors.
Some of the treats provided by the owner Alessandra will include freshly baked focaccia, vegetable cakes, regional cheeses, roasted local produce, and more, just enough to energize you without weighing you down.
Cycle for another hour before you reach Volastra, the middle village of the five that's famous for the olive groves and special oils produced here for centuries, as well as its many vineyards.
Enjoy some free time resting, snapping breathtaking photos, wandering through the vineyards and rocky paths, and then drive to Manarola to end your tour and catch a train to wherever your journey will take you next.
