Take the train from Roma Termini Central Station to Frascati at 9:49/9:54/10:14 am. Please wait for your guide on the platform and do not descend the stairs. You can take the 2:36 pm train back to Rome. But there are direct trains back to Rome from Frascati run every 60 minutes until 10:36 pm on weekdays and Saturdays. On Sundays, they run every 2 hours until 8:36 pm. It is important that you buy a return ticket at Roma Termini station because Frascati Station can be quite deserted at times without staff. The machines do not always work and you could be stranded. Another option would be to purchase the tickets online www.trenitalia.it.
